Hello fellow members,
Well it’s time to dust of the old bike or put together the new one and go riding again. It has already been a busy start to the year with a major working bee at Wonthaggi just been completed. Let me tell you the new track looks great after all the rain we have had over summer the berms and jumps have packed down nicely,  we have re-shaped the off road area and the grass is still green. In addition to all of this work we have installed some major drainage systems though the pits to help eliminate the issues we have had on very wet events in the past.  A huge thank you must go out to all the people who helped at the working bee especially Garry Dewilt, Kurt Goodman and Chris Townsend for supplying the earth moving equipment.

For those that don’t know the DMCC are running the first round of the Victorian Off Road Championship at Wonthaggi on the 5th & 6th of March, this event will suit riders of all disciplines with the first day being a sprint format on part of the Motocross track with some added grass track sections and a separate grass track on the property across the road. Sunday will be an A4D format motocross and camping will be available Saturday night. See https://www.mvorconline.com/ for more details.
There is a club sprint and a MX practise day at the track prior to the event so make sure you are there to get an advantage over the competition and test ride the new layout. See http://dmcc.com.au for more details.

Thank you very much to our secretary, Cory Murdoch, who has done a fantastic job of setting up the on line payment system for the membership renewals and web site upgrades.
The first club meeting will be on the 10th Feb so come on down, have a drink and find out all the latest news and gossip.
