In July 2005, the Australian Four Day Enduro Championships were run in the Central Coast area of NSW. About 35 Victorians entered the event which was run by the Central Coast Dirt Riders Club with the Parc Ferme (start area) located at the Wyong Horse Racing Complex.

The terrain was rocky with steep hills and a variety of special tests throwing up many challenges to competitors. The weather was unseasonably warm and the final moto was held at the Horse Racing track which attracted a great crowd in good conditions.

The Dandenong Motorcycle Club Club Team of Glenn Capuano, Dwayne Lloyd and Mark Portbury were placed third in the Championship which is a great effort.

The Christensens Motorcycles Trade Team including club members Blake Hore and Brett Barrett finished third in the Trade Team Championship in a very competitive field.

The Victorian Junior Trophy Team won their category which was great achievement highlighting the need for all members to finish in endurance events such as a Four day.
