The 2012 2 Day Wonthaggi Masters was run and won on the weekend, congratulations to all of the class winners and to the lucky kids on Saturday that went home with a new skateboard.
A big thanks to all of our class sponsors for your generosity and to our fantastic members who worked tirelessly in the lead up to the event with all of the track and infrastructure upgrades.
The biggest thanks must go to the helpers on the weekend who endured some of the most extreme conditions at a motocross I have ever seen, the club should be extremely proud of these small band of members that pulled together to ensure the track was not dusty in 38 degree heat and we had all of the corner marshal positions filled. Well done.
And of course thanks to the scorers, the canteen staff and the officials for a great job.

We can now look forward to the 1st round of the Victorian Senior Titles on the 17th & 18th March just 3 weeks away.
With the Vic titles the club is given $2,000 to go towards paying flag marshals, so due to this event being so close to our 2 day the committee have decided that we will need to pay people to do the 8 flag marshal jobs for this event.
This is an unfortunate position we find our self in because it effects the bottom line of the event but without the flaggies the club can’t run the event.
The club is still looking for volunteers to assist us with watering and canteen duties so if you are able to offer some of your time on either day could you please contact Darren Pay on 0409 020 116.
