The Dandenong MCC  proudly announce that Entries for round 2 of the 2019 DMCC MX Club Championships  series are now open. This events is being held on Saturday 19th October  

Entries for the rounds close
on the Thursday at 8pm sharp prior to the event. Even if you are not sure if you can make it or not please complete an entry so we have your information.

NO entries on the day will be accepted, no exceptions. 

Please read below for supplementary regulations and entry form.

Entry is open to DMCC members and non-members however only DMCC members will receive points towards the club champs.

To get points towards the club championships, be awarded series trophies and get your name on the honour board you will need to be a DMCC financial member. If you have never been a member you can join for the rest of the year for a special low rate of $52.00. You will need to complete your membership application or renewal on line prior to the first round.

1. Go to the membership section of the website dmcc.com.au and click on the link to join Dandenong Motorcycle Club 2. Fill in the form to register on the website, you will get an email to confirm your membership and your email address 3. Log into the site using your email address and password you set in the registration form.

4. Pay your membership by either:-

a) Pay by credit card with PayPal, this will instantly activate your membership. (preferred method.)

b) Choose 'Offline Payment' and print out the form and bring the form and payment to event.

5. If you have not got your membership card yet just print off the invoice located on the 'Profile and Payment' section of the website to use as proof of membership

1.    ANNOUNCEMENT
The Dandenong MCC  hereinafter called the PROMOTER, will conduct round 2 of the MX Club champs at Wonthaggi on Saturday 19th October

2.    JURISDICTION
The abovementioned meeting has been authorised by Motorcycling Victoria (MV) and will be held in accordance with the General Competition Rules (GCR’s) of Motorcycling Australia (MA), the by-laws of MV, these Supplementary Regulations and any final instructions issued by the stewards of the meeting.
BY ENTERING THIS MEETING ALL PARTIES AGREE TO COMPLY WITH THESE RULES, REGULATIONS, BY-LAWS AND INSTRUCTIONS.

3.    ENTRIES
Entries for this event must be completed online at www.dmcc.com.au

PLEASE NOTE IF YOU HAVE NOT ENTERED ONLINE PRIOR TO EVENT YOU WILL BE CHARGED $85 AS NUMBERS AND DETAILS ARE REQUIRED PRIOR TO EVENT.

SENIORS $65.

JUNIORS $65.

Extra children $50 for second and $40 for each additional child after.

PEEWEE'S Div 1 $20 parents are required to be in attendance on the peewee track at all times.

Additional Motorcycle or Class add $20 to the above amount.

$10 per family/entry to cover flaggie hire

Transponder Hire $20

Non-Members extra $10 per entry

No entries on the day will be accepted, no exceptions. 


Flag marshals will be provided however help will be required in the canteen or to water. There will be a roster system.  If you do not help when requested you will not be awarded any series points.

Please Note that Over 35, Over 40 and Women's will run in a combined class.

Enduro and Pre 90 classes may be combined with a double gate drop depending on entries.

Final Classes will be determined by the number of entries received. Final Classes to be announce prior to the event or at riders briefing.

 
A LIMITED NUMBER OF TRANSPONDERS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE DAY FOR HIRE.

REMEMBER NO TRANSPONDER NO POINT TOWARDS THE CHAMPIONSHIP.

JUNIOR AGE: A junior rider's age on January 1 will determine his/her age for competition that year. However, a rider may move to the next higher class when he/she becomes eligible to do so at any time during the year, but once a rider moves to the higher age class in any competition, he/she may not move back to the lower age class. Points earned in a lower class will not transfer to the higher class. This rule will apply to all riders up to and including 16 year olds.

PERMISSION: has been granted to run classes with more than 4 year age differences.

SENIOR RACES: will be approx. 10 minutes. Classes of less than 6 entries may be deleted or combined with another suitable class on the program with approval of the M. A. Steward.

JUNIOR RACES: will be approx. 7 minutes but may be shortened or altered for any class with approval of the M. A. Steward.

TRACKS: may be shortened or altered for any class of racing with approval of the M. A. Steward.

Only entries received on the official Entry Form will be accepted.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Entry is invited for riders who hold an M. A. License endorsed for National Senior or Junior Competition and hold a current club membership OR One day licenses may be purchased on the day after following correct entry schedule at each venue at a cost of $ 70.00 For Senior Riders and for Junior riders they must have completed the Kickstart Book that must be seen at sign in and proof of Ambulance Cover.

5.    MEDICAL SERVICES
The Club first aid volunteer will be in attendance from the entirety of the event.

6.    SIGN IN
Sign in for the abovementioned event will take place from 7am.

7.    RIDERS BRIEFING
Attendance at the Riders Briefing is compulsory. The Riders Briefing will take place at 8.30am

8.    TEMPORARY GUARDIAN
Riders under the age of 18, if not accompanied by parents, must have a guardianship form filled out prior to the event and presented at sign in. The guardian must be over 18 years and have ID.

9.    MINIMUM ENTRIES
6 solo entries to constitute a class. Grades may be combined with higher or lower grade if insufficient entries are received to constitute a class. The club reserves the right to cancel / combine classes at its discretion.

10.  CORNER DUTY
Club supplied

11.  GRID POSITIONS
First in best dressed.

12.  PIT BOARDS
Not allowed.

13.  MACHINE EXAMINATION
All machines must comply with the 2018 GCR’s
Scrutineering from 7.00am

14.  AWARDS
JUNIOR RIDERS: Overall Championship awards will be presented at the end of the series only to the financial DMCC Junior riders that have completed at least 2 of the 3 rounds.

SENIOR RIDERS: trophy’s will only be awarded to financial DMCC senior riders upon request for the series however the points will be tallied every round, you must complete 2 of the 3 rounds to get your name on the honor board in the club rooms.

16.  CODE OF CONDUCT
All competitors, officials and parents are reminded of the Motorcycling Australia By-Law – CODE OF CONDUCT (as stipulated in the GCR’s) which is a guide to appropriate behaviour at all motorcycle race meetings. This CODE OF CONDUCT applies to this meeting and will be enforced.

GENERAL


Abandonment: In the event of the meeting being abandoned due to circumstances beyond the control of the promoters before racing commences, entry fees will be returned, less a fee per entry to cover administration costs. Once the competition has commenced only the stewards of the meeting have the authority to abandon the meeting and their decision shall be final. In such cases the stewards will rule on the results according to the circumstances.
