Round 3 of theMK1 Motorcycles 2013ORCC (off-road club champs) is on Sunday 14th April at the Micah property in Rawson and will be a Sprint.
There will be one sprint track which is about 7-8 mins long.

Entry fee will be $45 for seniors and $35 for juniors, entries are on line and payment is made at sign on, so please bring the correct money.

Classes are as per below with A grade being Expert, B grade being high ranked clubman and C grade being lower ranked clubman.

There are no capacity classes.

Intermediates just enter the relevant A, B or C grade class.

Junior classes cater for 50cc upwards with 125/150/200 2S and 250 4S combined.

Please make sure when doing your online entry you enter the correct class. If you enter a lower grade than your ability shows, you may beregraded on the day to a higher grade.

The event is on private property so no rego or licence is required just a quiet bike in line with current race noise limits (112dBA or less at2m at full revs per 2013 MOMS). If you have an older model 2 stroke, if you repack the muffler it will be fine, but if you have an older model 4 stoke with original muffler it will be too loud. Noise testing will be done and limit enforced.



A BBQ and soft drinks are supplied by the club at conclusion of racing. As the venue is being used forVORC round the following weekend the track markings can stay up so no reason to disappear, hang abouttell a few stories to and about other riders!

Camping at the venue is not available as requested by the land owner due to the normal use of the land being a mining equipment yard and working timber mill.

, for those that can help on the Sat and arrive by 11am a camping site can be organised for you close to the venue. But you need to e-mail your intention to help so the site can be organised.


The format is Sprint

Sign-on will be from7.30am on Sunday forSnrs andJnrs and Riders Briefing at 08.45am. Any changes or additional information will be communicated by final instructions and/or e-mail.

Event timing/scoring will be by transponder, the club can provide transponders to hire for $20 per transponder for the day to cover the costs to the club for the box of transponders.
Sprint run times will be available for viewing at the completion of your run so you can see if your times are improving.

Riders will need to leave car keys or licence as a bond for hire of transponders to make sure the transponder is returned.

ENTRIES WILL BE TAKEN ON THE DAY BUT WILL BE CHARGED AN EXTRA $20 OVER ENTRY FEE. Doesn’t matter if you rang Al, Bryan, Frank, Bear, whoever if you haven’t done an online entry you will be charged $20 extra as it is a lot of work to do on the day for the sign-in people.

Please make sure you submit the correct email address on your entry, for any event information to be sent.

Final instructions will be e-mailed to entrants on the Thursday evening/Friday morning.

If you enter and are not able to ride on the day please reply via e-mail to entry confirmation e-mail that you received that you are unable to make it.

Rules:
1. To be eligible for series points riders or their delegate must work at a nominated pre-event working bee.

2. Riders who work a pre-event working bee for the day or as determined by the event co-ordinator will get free or minimal cost ($10 insurance levied by MV) entry to the next ORCC event.

3. Enviromats are compulsory when replenishing fluids in your bike; these will be available for sale at events for $5 each. If you need one please tick the appropriate box in the entry form.

4. Each pit tent/group must supply their own small (1kg) chemical fire extinguisher, the normal small type you might carry in your car, boat, caravan etc.

This will be a sprint event, please check the noise level of your bike. If you are unsure of your bike’s noise level, please contact Bryan Noble on 9707 5672. Any bike found on the day to be too noisy may not race. 

Riding is to be kept to the designated tracks only. No riding on the roads or other areas.
Car parking only in the designated area/s, as this is a working mining yard please keep access to their area clear at all times.

Entry fee is $45 for seniors and $35 for juniors, entries on the day accepted with $20 surcharge. Any rider who hasn’t paid their 2013 club fees or isn’t a member will need to pay for membership at sign in.

One event (day) membership is $40 except for a come and try junior rider it is $20.

Day members are not eligible for series points.
